Leicester and South Trent has had a functioning School of Anaesthesia for over 12 years.

During this time the educational opportunities for training in Anaesthesia and its allied specialties such as Critical Care and Pain Management, Difficult Airway training, Pain Management have all increased vastly.

Surgeons

Training is of the highest calibre and we have a comprehensive training program which includes a half day release course in addition to the National Pre Exam Courses Based in the Leicester Hospitals.

Our Rotations involve many hospitals which encompass many training opportunities. Hospitals included are University Hospitals of Leicester, Kettering, Northampton, Peterborough, Boston, Derby and Lincoln.
